I’m Afzia! Owner and Lead Planner at Style & Elegance Wedding and Events.

I'm a born and raised Southern Ontario native with a love for all things pretty and elegant! I live in Kitchener-Waterloo with my husband and our two beautiful daughters. When I'm not working weddings I love going for walks, reading, eating sweets (when I shouldn’t be!), surfing on Pinterest and binge watching Netflix shows!

What can I say... I love all things pretty, romantic, and inspirational. There is so much beauty in everyday life that I want to soak it all in and share it with you.

Why I do what I do

I know how amazing this journey can be and the importance of appreciating and making memories along the way. Being a part of those special moments is what truly brings me joy.

If I could eat, live and breathe weddings 24/7, I would. But, well… who am I kidding. I already do! My passion and drive for beautifully planned events comes from the smiles on my clients' faces when they see their vision come together. My “why” is found in the look on the groom’s face when he sees his beautiful bride walking toward him. It comes from the bride's father getting the first look at his little girl looking all grown up in her white wedding dress. It comes from catching a glimpse of the couple sneaking an intimate moment at the head table... the groom gently kissing his bride's shoulder… oh, the butterflies I get!
