We have been busy around here the last couple days so we haven’t had a chance to post about Priyanka & Nick’s reception. Oh how happy they looked! Held at the Taj Palace in the the bustling city of Delhi, the newlyweds celebrated with yet another lavish affair in style. The happy couple were all smiles at the reception full of high profile guests, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The happy couple were just glowing as newlyweds. Priyanka made heads turn in a silver and cream lehenga, stacked red-and-white bangles and a draped dupatta (shawl) to match. Her hair was adorned with white flowers and she wore the most beautiful pieces of jewelry – a pair of glittering earrings and a triple-tiered necklace. Her dapper husband looked handsome as ever in a navy-blue velvet tuxedo. How happy do they look!!!?!?!?

Indian weddings are full of colour, florals (lots of florals), elaborate backdrops and classic beauty. They in essence tell a story about the couple. I’m sure Priyanka & Nick had a major hand in planning many of the details that we saw throughout their wedding celebrations. They even had a monogram initials created for their wedding events starting with the roka ceremony.

As we’ve said before.. it’s all in the details!

Well done you two!

Can I just say again how absolutely stunning and elegant Priyanka looks! She is a classic beauty.

One more thing..… the way he looks at her!

“And forever starts now…”

Priyanka and Nick exchanged vows for a second time on December 2nd in a lavish Hindu wedding. Just as Nick’s upbringing was honoured, Priyanka’s heritage and culture was acknowledged with a wedding ceremony at Umaid Bhavan Palace.

For the Hindu ceremony, Priyanka looked every inch the beautiful bride in a traditional Indian outfit by famed designer Sabyasachi Mukherji. She was simply stunning in a deep red lehenga (a two-piece outfit consisting of this skirt and a coordinating top) that featured heavy detailing of intricate embroidery, fine jewels and sequin work. The bridal gown was paired with traditional gold jewellery and a flower garland. To be honest, the florals are my favourite part! The scents are so incredibly intoxicating leaving an everlasting memory in your mind of the moment.. Priyanka also wore a necklace by designer Chopard that featured 184.50-carats of pear-shaped diamonds set in white gold. These were teamed with a pear-shaped diamond (wowza!) and a 16-carat oval-shaped diamond headpiece. True to queen style, Priyanka looked absolutely beautiful!

Nick also looked handsome in an Indian ensemble. He opted for the dhoti, an article of clothing that consists of a rectangular, five-meter-long piece of cotton that’s typically white or cream in colour and adorned with golden embroidery. The groom completed his wedding-day look with the typical Indian turban of the state of Rajasthan, recognizable by its peaked top. He also wore a beautiful kurta top.

The vibrant and stunning colours of cultural weddings have always been a show stopper for me. You really can make a statement with a pop of colour (in this case alot!) Everything comes so alive! We can’t wait to see Hello Magazine and People Magazine’s exclusive photos!

The celebrations continued with the big day everyone was waiting for. The Umaid Bhavan Palace was the most beautiful setting for Priyanka and Nick’s western ceremony. So dreamy and royal.. every detail was perfect. From the gown, to the altar, to the way they gazed at one another as they held hands. The gown itself was an exquisite custom Ralph Lauren creation, which featured motifs, appliqués, scalloped sleeves (be still my heart!) and a high-neck collar. The hand-beaded and hand-embroidered gown also included mother of pearl pailettes, crystal seed beads, and Swarovski crystals - which took a total of 1,826 hours to complete. Underneath the long-sleeve gown was a strapless column dress made up of over two million mother of pearl sequins. Oh and did you see that tulle veil - 75 feet long - WOWZA!!!

Adding a special touch, the wedding dress had eight words in hand-stitched embroidery, specially chosen by the bride. The words and phrases included, Nicholas Jerry Jonas, 1st December 2018, Madhu & Ashok, Om Namah Shivay (a Hindi mantra invoking Lord Shiva), Family, Hope, Compasssion and Love. In addition, Priyanka had a piece of her mother-in-law’s lace wedding dress sewn into her dress. This is amazing! Talk about making it your own :)

Nick also wore a custom Ralph Lauren, a six-button double breasted black tuxedo and custom patent lace up dress shoes. Inside of the purple lapel of the tuxedo, he added a small piece of lace from the bride's dress embroidered with the Urdu words "My Jaan" which translates to "My Life". (I’m not crying.. you’re crying…Pass me the tissues!!! I love this). What made the ceremony even more meaningful, Nick’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr officiated the wedding!

Seriously, both of them looked absolutely stunning and so in love with each other it was such an emotional thing to watch. It didn’t matter that this was a “whirlwind romance”, they say… you know when you know.

We can’t wait to see lots more pictures… So happy for them!

The wedding events continued for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas with a joyous Sangeet celebration!

In simple terms… it’s all-out-huge-dance-party! An intense song and dance competition between the families made for a spectacular, fun and love-filled evening for everyone. Picture this - millions of fairy lights and mirrors lit up the grounds to create an enchanted fairytale land. A stunning backdrop for such an opulent venue as Umaid Bhavan Palace.

Priyanka stunned in a GORGEOUS hand embroidered gold and silver sari while Nick looked like a prince in his midnight blue sherwani with gold thread detailing. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla you really nailed it. Royalty! Check out the amazing images below and enjoy!

We just absolutely LOVE Bollywood weddings! From fresh, fun and colourful to elegant classic beauty, Priyanka Chopra + Nick Jonas’ wedding celebrations were nothing short of spectacular. A combination of two cultures made this fete one that was meaningful to both bride and groom. Should it be any other way??

Since cultural weddings like this one are multi-day celebrations, we wanted to share the beauty in each one! The first event is called a Mehendi. This ceremony usually takes place a day or two before the wedding where all of the women in the bride and groom’s families, along with close friends, gather together while the bride has elaborate henna designs applied to her hands and feet. Guests will usually get a few designs on their hands as well. Beautiful intricate designs created by very talented artists. Typically an ladies affair, the trend has gone towards having a coed event with both the bride and groom’s family and friends. The more the merrier I say!! An immensely colourful event with lots of singing and dancing typically kicks off the wedding celebrations!

Wearing Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Priyanka and Nick looked like rockstars! They both were so happy they couldn’t stop smiling! Personally we are so in LOVE with her dress!!! Absolutely stunning and so much fun!!!

Hope you enjoyed!
